Today we announce that Tyler Goodwin is joining The Plug as our first Tech Policy Reporter. He began his work as a researcher in 2017 at the Institute for Human Rights in Birmingham, Alabama. He’s also held research positions at War Child, CompTIA, and interned at the United Nations.
Tyler’s research areas of interest include artificial intelligence, algorithmic management, data privacy, and surveillance. He graduated with his BA in Political Science and BS in Human Rights Law & Economics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019, and his Masters in Public Policy from George Mason University in 2021.
