Introducing Mapping Inclusivity: An Examination of the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and the People and Communities Moving us Forward

Dear readers—

The world is heavy. In just a matter of months, everything has changed. And for many of us who have long-known the particular social ills of America’s racial history, it may feel as if for the first time, the world is listening.

This month, The Plug will continue our efforts to be responsible stewards with our platform, using data, deep reporting, and investigation to provide a lens into the ecosystems, founders, business leaders, and initiatives at work fueling the next wave of inclusive entrepreneurship.

Our new series, Mapping Inclusivity, powered by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, looks across national and local ecosystems to tell the stories of people, communities, and systems fostering access to the future of work and business.

Every week over the next 6 months we will bring you our reporting, feature stories, and data visualizations from our team of talented reporters covering communities traditionally missing from the discussions and analysis we have about business and the future of the economy.

We’ll also be looking to you for help! What should we be reporting on? Who are the people overcoming challenges to move our country and our economy forward? Reach us with your thoughts and contributions at research@tpinsights.com.

This work is now more important than ever. We’re grateful to kick off this timely collaboration to bring you narratives to help you build your knowledge of where innovation is taking place and how you can get connected to the work. We’ll still be serving our pro members and continuing access to more of our exclusive content, data indexes, and monthly calls. If you’d like to support our work, please consider becoming a PRO Member

We look forward to having you along for the journey.
